Our Forum is alive and kicking like Bruce Lee!!! We’re seeing a steady trickle of new user registrations and subsequent activity on the boards. Remember, this is about the easiest way you can participate and get more involved in this website. Feel free to register as a new user, start a thread, make replies and comments, and generally let your voice be heard. As always, our one request is to keep it clean and ‘above the belt’. We’re hoping to spur along nice dialogue not punch people in the junk.

For those that didn’t see, or those that need a reminder, the Phoenix Consumers Criterium Series weekly race will be tonight. Yes, while typically held on Tuesday’s, this week it is shifted to Thursday. So, what else do you got going on tonight, oh say 4:30-5:00-ish? Why not race your bike?

VelocityGroupCycling.com has been open for business for about a year now. In that time we’ve made 361 posts. This one making 362. We’ve tried to consistently push the website further and further; content wise and design wise. In that time we’ve brought on advertisers, grown our traffic immensely and (hopefully) solidified ourselves as a website for the Arizona cycling community for years to come.

With that said, we want to continue growing. This operation has expanded well beyond a one-horse-town kind of website and is in need of some contributors to continue our growth and continue to provide new content for all of you. Bicycle Haus – Ladies Night

Greetings!

We are very excited to announce that we are hosting another Ladies Night here at Bicycle Haus!

The last ladies event was extremely successful and everyone has been requesting another so we listened.

Food, drinks, and fun in addition to an educational clinic put on by our friend Amy Shreve, the Specialized Designs for Women expert. Ask all the questions you want, learn how to fix a flat and more!

What a weekend to help support Doug Flynn’s family and some great Masters Racing too!

RideClean scored top Masters Series Points and hosting team Yuma Bike Club jumps into the mix with 2nd most Masters Series Points from the weekend.

Brian Lemke of  White Mountain Road Won the Overall in the Masters 40+ group winning both the Criterium and the Circuit race. Bob Pongratz did the same giving him the Overall Win in the 50+ group!

The BOS group ride has changed it’s start time to 7:00am.

BOS is a great group ride in North Scottsdale that leaves early Saturday mornings. Most know where it starts and where it goes, but never WHEN it starts. There is no central website. There is no group or person promoting the ride. Start time changes are called out in the parking lot morning of the ride.

Last Saturday morning the call was made in the parking lot to change the start time to 7:00am. That call was relayed on to us and posted here to try and keep everyone up to speed.

We do our best to keep track of BOS’s start time. If the end of the week rolls around and you’re not certain of the start time, check out our ‘Calendar’ page or make a quick post to the Forum’s “Group Ride” topic.
