Marcotte’s Digits.

Marcotte’s Digits.

What kind of numbers does it take to ride at the Redlands Classic?

Let me re-phrase that… what kind of numbers was a local rider doing to hang with the big guns at the Redlands Classic?

Check out the new VeloNews article here:

Boles Group Steps Up To Sponsor VelocityGroupCycling.com!

Boles Group Steps Up To Sponsor VelocityGroupCycling.com!

We’re very happy to announce our newest advertiser: The Boles Group.

You may have already noticed their logo appearing on the right sidebar of this site. Get familiar with it, it’s going to be there awhile.

The Boles Group are certified public accountants and business advisers led by cyclist Jason Boles. Jason also plays a big part in the new Team Progressive/Worldmotors cycling team.

We’d like to thank the Boles Group and the rest of our advertisers for their support of the Arizona cycling community. As we’ve mentioned in the past, all of the advertising revenue generated from this site is funneled directly back in to the Arizona cycling community in some shape or form.

Did you notice the (5) $20 primes that were given out to the category 2/3 men’s race at the San Tan Criterium? Yeah, that was generated from this website.

Thank you,

Admin

We’ve heard through the grapevine that cyclist Heidi Clayton was hit by a car last Thursday.

Joe Wells wrote a bit more about it here:

Here’s more we found on WomensBikeTalk.com:

Tour de Arizona?

Tour de Arizona?

Is it possible? A “Tour de Arizona”…. in 2011… with UCI status…. and 7-stages.

Medalist Sports is just the type of company capable of pulling it off.

Check it out here:

Any thoughts?

Focus Grand Prix…

Focus Grand Prix…

We got some inside info on the Focus Grand Prix today…

Sounds like it going to be the bee knee’s and the cat’s meow all in one.

San Tan Ford stepped up to make it happen and Bicycle Radio hopped on board to MC and DJ for the day.

We like it when people come together to make an event stand out from the rest. You know… a little style, or a little twist on the norm. Kudos to them.

On top of that, the weather’s going to be perfect. No excuses now.

We’ll see you out there supporting our community!
