It’s officially official, the 2010 Velocity Group/AZMPS Most Aggressive Racer Series kicks off tomorrow at the ASU Criterium and continues through Sunday’s Avondale Criterium.
What does this mean?
It means that recognition will be given to a ASU Criterium racer in the Master’s 30+ or Master’s 40+ category who races his bike hard; attacks confidently, isn’t afraid to stick his nose out in the wind, chase down a break, and generally just rip it up.
Same rules apply at Sunday’s Avondale Criterium for the Master’s 40+ category.
What’s at stake?
A sweet t-shirt:
The beauty of this award is that it won’t be given out by the bushel at each and every race. In fact, if the race isn’t too exciting, nothing will be awarded at all. That way, when someone is awarded a shirt you know they had a killer day on the bike.
That’s all of the update we have for now. Stay tuned for more details of the series as well and a follow-up on who was awarded Most Aggressive Racer of this coming weekend’s races!
