Bicycle Radio to Host Daily Tour de France News Updates

Mesa, AZ USA – (7/02/2009) – BicycleRadio.com will host daily Tour de France news coverage and updates beginning Saturday July 4th, 2009. Join host Sean Mellor and race analyst Efraim Rojas for daily recaps and stage by stage results in this year’s epic Tour de France

Bicycle Radio’s Daily Updates will give listeners a unique opportunity to gain insight into the peloton, racing strategies, and the team tactics that make this grand event so spectacular. Listeners can either listen online at BicycleRadio.com or download the show for listening at a later time. Each daily update will include a secret code word that will allow listeners to call into the “LIVE” show each Monday for prizes.

“This year’s Tour brings about more excitement and anticipation than ever and really should be an extremely epic race” said Mellor, referring to the comeback of 7-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. “It doesn’t seem like there’s a conversation I have regarding this year’s Tour that his name doesn’t come up”.

Race Analyst, Efraim Rojas said, “The big story to me this year is, not only, the level of talent across the entire roster but also the way this year’s race could present us with one of the most dramatic finishes in years, with Mont Ventoux on the second to last stage”.

BicycleRadio.com hosts the “LIVE” show “Escape the Peloton” every Monday night at 7 p.m. (PST), featuring cycling discussions, parody, entertainment, news on current events and special guests. Past guests include, pro cyclist, Rahsaan Bahati, Steve Madden from Bicycling Magazine and cycling commentators Phil Liggett and Bob Roll.
