This is more than just a bike race, it’s an event! Come spend the day in Old Town Scottsdale watching the racing and enjoying the sunshine. Weather report: upper 80’s and partly cloudy. Sounds perfect!

Bring the whole family! A “Kid Zone” will be available near the start finish area on Craftsman Rd next to Acme Bar where they can play on the “moonbounce” (10am-4pm) and get snowcones! Bring the kids, and visit our supporting merchants in this vibrant city center setting! Special kid’s races go off at 3:25pm!

Watch the racing action from course side restaurants Acme Bar and Grill, Dos Gringos, Upper Deck and Bada Boom. Outdoor seating right next to the finish line! Food and drink specials all day long!

Why not try viewing the race from:

  • The start/finish has patio seating, at Dos Gringos and Upper Deck, right on the street! Acme Bar and Grill and Dos Gringo’s both have an upper deck on the finishing stretch.
  • You can also watch the race at Bacon, located between 5th and 3rd Ave. on Goldwater. Bacon is a new, open air, European market place with an organic earthy feel, and they will be open for breakfast at 6:00.
  • On the 3rd corner is outdoor seating at Mandala Tearoom. Mandala has 40+ teas and is 100% organic, vegetarian restaurant, with 40% of the menu being gluten free.

Fun events:

  • Wine tasting by Su Vino Winery at Acme Bar and Grill. Time… TBD
  • Live jazz band at Bada Boom! Pasta Room from 1-4pm-ish. Half off large pizzas at Bada Boom! $3 Bloody Marys, $3 Hermosas, $3 Drafts, $4 Wells

Bicycle Haus will be open as well from 12:00- 4:00 as well.

Amateur racing starts at 7:30am with the Pros going off at 3:40pm! Over $10,000 in cash and merchandise prizes!
